So I want to post about NaNo and stuff, and also a few more thoughtful comments on MGS4, and I keep looking for that theme for Old Snake but with the trumpets... Anyway. I'll get to that later.

But: I come bearing exceptional news that I would love nothing more than to archive here so that I may look back to it and giggle like a little girl.
I GAVE SNAPEKID A COOKIE.
It was awesome. I had made a giant batch of cookies since it was the last day before finals, and I was walking back from lunch and he was behind me, so I just turned around and was like, "Oh, hey Eli, Rachel said I should give you a cookie." And he actually wasn't too taken aback (maybe he had seen me give one to Ms. Colotti earlier?) and was just like, "Uh... Thank you." So then Echo comes running up to me while I'm at my locker all, "DID YOU GIVE SNAPEKID A COOKIE!!1!??" And I sort of brush it off like, "I dunno, why would you think so?" "BECAUSE I JUST SAW SNAPEKID WALKING DOWN THE HALL EATING A COOKIE."
So anyway, I was in math the next day talking to Rachel, and she's like, "Oh, yeah. Did you give Eli a cookie?" I kinda got worried like, "Did he say something? Wait, you covered for me, right?" And she just laughed, and I'll try to quote this as closely as I can: "Well, my mom picked me up yesterday and I heard Eli yelling at me from the second floor, and I figured he was just trying to mooch a ride off me- because he's SUCH a mooch- and instead he asked like, 'Hey Rachel, did you tell that girl to give me a cookie?' And I was like, 'Uhhhhh... Yeah?' because I heard 'girl' and 'cookie' and I know you think he's funny, so I immediately got this mental image of you in my head, and then he was like, 'Oh, thanks. It was really good.'" And by that time I was bright red and giggling furiously. XDDD I AM SO FAR GONE.
Cookie-ing other people was fun too, like Beekley with her almost biting my arm off with it, and Quadros with his G-rated version of, "HELLZ YEAH I WANT A COOKIE." Actually, that was just one of those things that reminded me how young he is- I think he's only 25 or something. But I saw his senior square in one of the old yearbooks, and it made me wonder why- after writing something nasty and sarcastic enough to even make Snape proud- would you want to go back and teach at a school you hated? He's a little Snape-y, I think, especially with the picture that they had of him. He kinda looked like that kid that didn't have any friends because everyone thought he was creepy. DDD= Maybe that explains why I don't hate him like everyone else does. Hm... I know he thanked me a second time, the day after, probably because no one else gives him stuff like that, even though it went something like, "Oh, Paige-" "Grace." "Huh?" (all Billy-like) "Grace, is my name." (I really look nothing like Paige!)

Oh, and another thing? I was looking through Rachel's friends page, and it turns out that Snapekid has a facebook too. XDDD (And he has over 200 friends!) Why does that make me laugh so hard?
Well, actually, that doesn't make me laugh as hard as this other thing Mum said. She made me promise not to post this, but I am. She realized that in regards to Snapekid's house, she had the wrong one, and it's not purple-y-pink, its a different house that's actually bubblegum pink. But anyway, she says, "I was just thinking... Snapekid's pink house is kinda like the equivalent to Snape's grey underwear, don't you think?" MUM FTW~ XDDDDDDD OW WAIT MY BRAIN OW
ANYWAY. On a whole other note, I listened to the released music for Kenji and I got that little leaping feeling in my chest, followed by incessant squealing. JAKE'S THEME MADE ME WANT TO CRY WITH JOY~ And Blue Badger of course, and Miiiiiiles~ (And I like the new Pursuit theme, even though it's sorta different.) It's like... I feel almost proud of the fandom.
I took pics of the fandomcase, finally, so those should be up soon. =DDD
And after thinking about it, I reeeeally want to write a Snape/Silent Hill crossover fic. It would be really interesting, I think, but I have to finish my other projects first (like the Royal fic! Though, speaking of that, I'm going to give
I just had this interesting exchange with Mum; she look at the news online, and she watches the D-Day ceremony and sees the thing on the sidebar: "ABC NEWS LIVE." So, "Is it really live?" she asks. And without thinking, I say, "Well, it was live when they taped it." This causes an awkward pause as we think about this. Oddly enough, things like this happen alot. (EDIT: She looked at my title quick, and asked, "Who is the Elvis of facebook?)

( Seriously, like, EVERYONE I KNOW has been telling me that they've seen him around, and for God's sakes, I've been seeing him *everywhere*. He's here and there like NEEYOOM NEEYOOM NEEYOOM. (Maybe he Apparates?) )
SO. On another note, (actually there are three more notes,) I first have a Silent Hill tidbit. Chevy recently had a dream in which PyramidHead was on Oprah for a makeover. Apparently he used to be a doctor in a really crumby area, and all the doctors made fun of him, and since it was in a rough part of town, he had to wear a bullet-proof helmet, so he pulled it all the way over his head and became PH. Also, his name is Drew. And he likes to wear Hawaiian shirts. I am now going to draw this.

Lastly,
khoany stood up in English today when the topic of China was brought up, and she said, "BTW, guys? We are all going to get diarrhea. Definitely. But, it's going to be the best damn diarrhea we've ever had." To which I immediately responded, "Ain't it just!" Needless to say, we were both the only ones laughing hysterically.

So I'll start with the former and move to the latter, mmm?
We had a peer leader thing with the Freshman last Friday, and we met in the auditorium and did stuff and then went to the Field House and did stuff... But in the auditorium, they had all this music playing when everyone was coming in, and during that I happen to notice Snapekid sitting somewhat near me. He doesn't seem too happy with the music, and he has his headphones on and is all, "Whatever." So then they start playing Don't Stop Believin' (you know, Journey,) and out of the corner of my eye I see him sort of perk up, take off the headphones, and then start grinning at his buddy sitting next to him. By the second verse, they're both singing along and rocking out, complete with Snape-y headbanging. Yes. Headbanging.
So then we get to the Field House, and alot of the peer leaders are hanging out and dancing near the DJ, along with some of the Freshman. I guess someone got Snapekid up there too, because he and Kenny are tearing it up rocker-style. To my surprise, Snapekid is very good at this. Much more to my surprise, as I'm watching, Kenny offers to let me join them, so I end up jamming out with Kenny, this other girl, and Snapekid. It was freaking awesome. (Also, imagine Young!Snape jumping up and down to Every Time We Touch, yet still staying remarkably Snape-y. HOW DOES THIS KID DO IT?)
Also, apparently he's a huge Pink Floyd fan, since I heard him go and specifically request they play Brain Damage, from the Dark Side of the Moon album. Dad very much approves of this.
Actually, I lied. I am going to put the two together. Well- not literally. I was just thinking about the whole PH is guilt-incarnate, and James is punishing himself for killing Mary, etc. etc... And am I the only one who thinks Snape would have one hell of a Silent Hill? He has James' self-hatred, and Angela's abuse issues, and Eddie's problems with being picked on, and Laura's lonliness... Ouch, guys.

I sort of lost my two-day Wolverine kick, but all-in-all... Memory wipes make everything better. Lumberjack!Logan is frigging adorable. Gambit is amazing, and is now in the lower bit of my List, and
Exit 51 this past week was spent stalking Snapekid, mostly. He has a cool phone, and as Echo says, "He has such pretty eeeeeyessss~"
George bought a Spock action figure for me. ^.^ Actually, he moved up to #2 on my List, which is first for all intensive purposes. <333 And to be honest, I'm still sort of obsessed. In fact, I've never had any kind of desire to share any of my sci-fi/superhero fandoms with Mum, since she's not really into that, but I REALLY want her to see Star Trek. It's just so awesooooome~ (And also, I'm compelled to write Spock/Uhura fic. Is that a bad thing?) I have to draw something as a thank you note for George, I think.
I've been spamming my brain with Ouran, and it's sort of amazing. Was it Echo who described it as "G-rated prostitution"? It is, but I swear it's the fluffiest thing in the world. It's like fluff on crack, but without all the nasty side effects. It is fanservice incarnate. XDDD So far, I think the beach episode is my favorite, or the one where they go to Haruhi's house. (Her dad is such a weirdo! *awwww*) Kyoya is on my List, somewhere in the high twenties, low thirties, I think. He can be such a jerk sometimes, but he's wonderful, really. Also, Honey = Momiji³. He's insanely cute, and I do love Mori. The Twins remind me sooo much of Fred and George, though their little angst story is incredibly sweet. And then there's Tamaki. XDDDD He's grown on me more and more, and he's just so gimmerously foppish...really need to watch the rest of the outtakes. ("That's a bad idea, Honey.")
So, Anime Boston is next weekend. (omg omg omg omg...) Genderbender!Layton is almost finished, so I think I can pull it off. I just need a top hat, but I'm going to go look for one today. I think there's a costume shop up near the Northshore Mall, so I'll go check that out. All phasers are locked!

So, I was sitting on the windowsill by the bench in the hall this morning, and I wasn't really talking to anyone since most everyone is in Italy for the band/chorus trip. So I'm trying to study and I'm looking up briefly, and all the sudden I see this girl walking past me with a giant plush Companion Cube under her arm. I'm speechless for a second, but she's already walking away, so I jump up and burst out with a, "OH MY GOD IS THAT A COMPANION CUBE!?!?" She barely even turns around, and sticks her thumb up like, "You bet!" And keeps walking.
stella_muse turns to me, wide-eyed, and says, "Wow. You... You kinda screamed at her." And of course I look up to see several people looking at me funny. It was the pinnacle of dorkiness, and secretly, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Now I have
lyricalecho looking out for Eli!Snape too. But I was in Math class, and somehow we got talking about how kids are wearing those huge headphones now, and I kinda laughed and mentioned to Rachel, "Yeah, there's this freshman who practically has those glued to his head. My friends and I call him Snape!kid." And she laughs too and says, "Hey, are you talking about Eli?" And I'm like, "YES, OMG, I'M NOT INSANE." So I hesitantly asked her if he was an okay kid and stuff, and not a jerk, and she said that he was totally nice, but sort of quiet and stuff. Also, they're apparently really good friends, since she was telling me how he, and I quote, "Totally kicked my ass in Super Smash Brothers. He beat me sixteen times- I counted. But he was kinda nice about it, since he didn't make fun of me or anything. He was just kinda smug." You have no idea how young!videogamenerd!Snape makes me giggle. You know, with the Xbox headset and everything? =DDD <333
ECHO, ECHO, MY GIFT FOR YOUR BRITHDAY IS ALL S
Hey, speaking of Monty Python, I was in French today and since it was right before vacation, we were playing this tag game where you can only be tagged if you're not sitting on a desk. Mr. Quadros, looking ridiculous with his terrorist beard and 12 year-old attire, pointed out that it's only fun if you run around and taunt them a little bit, which then led us to shout many a French Taunt. "YOU SILLY ARTHUR-KING!"
AND LASTLY. The newest Half-Blood Prince trailer? Wow. Just... Oh my GOD. I'm sort of glad that they're finally addressing the Draco thing and, you know, giving him some kind of backbone. Also, I'm very happy to see the Sectumsempra scene, which means we get to see Snape's mad healing skillz (even though I think that it would be pretty awesome anyway. My question is how they're going to do that while staying in the PG rating, which is stupid anyway.) I am wondering though, what the deal is with this new thing at the Burrow, which, while I'm super excited to see a little Remus action, I'm not sure what we're giving up in exchange.
I suppose my biggest concern is this: Snape seems really chillax in the Flight of the Prince, whereas someone on Snapecast quoted him as being, “. .demented, inhuman, as though he was in as much pain as the yelping, howling dog stuck in the burning house behind them-” To be honest, I'm thinking Malfoy's expression was fairly fitting. (Although, to be honest, I sort of knew this would happen with Alan Rickman. I do love him to pieces, and he's a wonderful actor, but when it come to intensely emotional scenes... It's just not his forte.)
Otherwise, Katie Bell's issues were fairly creepy-looking, though I felt better with that familiar [nancy-boy] shot of Luna [I love so much.] Also... Oh, the ickle!Voldie thing. I'm glad we got some new footage of that, 'cause it's been mostly the same clips up until this point.
Right, I forgot to mention. That one line that Snape gets? "It's over." It's kind of intense and awesome. And also that shot of his [not]dueling with Harry, when it pans back really far... That is an amazing shot there, and perfect for making neat avatars.
AHAHAHAHA- Oh, S#%@ I don't feel like waiting until July.

The title, of course, is referring to the essay that Beeks made us write. "Write about someone you know who had something really horrible happen to them, that changed their life and made them miserable. Don't write about anything happy. Make it as personal and as painful to write as you can. Make sure to angst as you write it."
I made something up.
I finished Portal this weekend, and it has most certainly been added to my Top 3 Games list, which now includes Portal, Phoenix Wright, and Legend of Zelda: TP, in no particular order. But honestly, I love GLaDOS more than I should. "That thing is probably a raw sewage containment unit. So just go ahead and rub your face all over it." Also, I'm going to start saying, "NO WAI." Aaaand... Oh. The Curiosity Cube is my absolute favorite, even more than the turrets. "Who are you? What is that? Ooh, what's in here? Hey, look at that thing! No, the other thing! Ooh, that thing has numbers on it! Hey, you're that lady from the test! HI! Where are you going? Eeew! What's wrong with your legs!? Do you smell something burning?"
And unfortunately, I actually quoted the snarky computer in reference to my dad, saying, "Helloooooo~? THAT'S YOU. THAT'S HOW DUMB YOU SOUND." Looking back, that was nooooot the smartest thing to do. Then again, he also didn't take it seriously, "so that's funny too."
There are so many things about the latest Dollhouse episode, that I would hardly bother to write them all down here. Simply: Sierra/Victor FTW. November breaks my heart. Sierra's backstory is also really awful, though, and I mean that in the sense that it's well-written, just really, really horrible. Echo/Caroline is awesome, but still not my favorite, even though the scene with Topher was amazing (as
lyricalecho so enthusiastically points out.) Paul is sexy but insane. Unless that's just his dreams. THOSE ARE TOTALLY CRACK!DREAMS, HE'S NOT CRAZY. (And [lyrical]Echo, dear, I told you he had a thing for Caroline in particular.) But why don't I like that? It just seems wrong. Lastly, Topher, being afraid of the dark, and I honestly can't help but see him as just "the science guy," like maybe [lyrical]Echo when she grows up to be a supervillain.
Oh, hey, I was English today and I as was dumping my stuff on the back counter, I heard two generally non-dorky girls (though not quite the sporty/jock type) say something along the lines of, "Oh, yeah, I can't believe Angel came back and apologized!" And I figured since there is a guy in my grade named as such, I should ignore it. But then Molly was like, "Oh, man! Buffy was great in that scene!" After which I homed in and was all, "Uh... What are you talking about?" They muttered an ashamed, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," and I was like, "OMG YOU GUYS
ARE MY NEW FAVORITE PEOPLE." It was pretty awesome, and since they're only a little ahead of me, we would have fangirled more, but then Beeks came in. Frickety frick on a buscuit.
Ok, so it turns out Eli!Snape has an art class at the same time, as me, but across the hall. Since my class gets out earlier, and I sometimes poke in to say hi to Ms. Colotti, I ended up seeing him in there. They're doing the horrible 'clay head' project, and Eli!Snape was holding his up to the light, and I've never seen a kid look at his art so thoughtfully (with the contemplative hand-to-his-chin gesture and everything.) This spawned many mental images of artistic!Snape, all of which made me giggle inside all the way down to lunch. It also made me think of that Bones clip I saw of Booth with his little clay horse? Was that what it was? I think so. XD *AWW*
I did my audition for All Together Now, and I sang Penny's Song. It went something like, "-and every day of rain brings water flowing to things growing in the gr-OW OW OH GOD MY VOICE CRACKED OW-nd~" It was sort of painful, but at least I can't get cut. XDI have other things to discuss later, but I don't have time at the moment. (Stupid Essex County Project I hate you.)

Oooh, goodness. I've been putting this off for forever. I'll put down the stuff that I've already said outloud, but wish to stick in here for future reference.
For example, Nutella is my new favorite food. It's like spreadable hazelnut chocolate in a jar.
Also, Portal is AWESOME. I'm only at Room 16, so I'm not quite done yet. Though, I might chance to ask how it is that
lyricalecho knows GLaDOS' lines better than I do, and yet her copy of the game lies on the floor of the bedroom with the plastic wrap still on it.
"If you become lightheaded from thirst, feel free to pass out."
Also Buffy, whee! Ms. Walsh is either going to be helpful, bad, or dead- and I don't know which one yet. Xander is awesome and deep with his whole Dark Side speech, and Willow's hair is =DDDDDD I'll hopfeully watch the rest of the disc this weekend.
Well, today I saw Eli!Snape again. I guess he usually wears contacts or something, because today he was wearing these great glasses that were a little Mark a la Rent. You know, the rectangular ones with the thick black frames? Yeah. It made me smile inside.

Soon after that, the dream shifted suddenly to where I was River, and I was in some desert army base, and a nuclear bomb went off (guess where that came from) and I figured out that that's why I/River was crazy. In layman's terms,

I believe there was a bit of my summer!fluff!fic that describes Young Snape: "Instead, he merely wiped his forehead on the short sleeve of his favorite t-shirt: a worn blue Beatles one that his mother had gotten him for Christmas." I was after school on Wednesday and I saw Eli, AKA: Young Snape, and what was he wearing but the same short-sleeved blue Beatles t-shirt. (With the Yellow Submarine logo, actually.) It was awesome. And, I mean, he had the falling-apart converse sneakers, and the oversized, clunky headphones, and... =DDD Also, I heard him talk for the first time, and his voice is alot lower than I thought it would be. Actually, I know seniors whose voices aren't even that low. Do you think Snape grew into the deep AR!Snape voice that early on? (Because the AR!voice is totally canon, guys.)
I had a China meeting yesterday, and Beekley jokes abounded. Unfortunately, Mum found it fit to stay after and ask something along the lines of what would happen if I got certain female afflictions during the trip. I let this go for a bit, I was good, I swear, and then they wouldn't stop. (I don't care if China has CVS, okay!?) For gorram sake's, my mother is discussing my period with the Beek-Beast! After this, I am going to chase it from my mind. It never happened.

Hee! I finally sent in my question to
snapecast. I was fairly sure I heard something about a Valentine's day episode, so maybe it will make it in time for that. They do have alot of owlpost, though... Even still, I thought it was a good question. "That's the point, Joss! It's COMPELLING!" The question is as follows:
"I was writing some fanfiction and it got me wondering about the childhood relationship between Severus and Lily. I would only assume that they spent quite a bit, if not all of their time together during the summer in particular. That being the case, do you think Lily ever included Severus in some of her more feminine activities? If so, does the greasy git still know how to give a pedicure, do a french braid, and tell the difference between a pair of spring pumps and a pair of autumn ones?"
Stop looking at me like that. No, really. Can't you maybe see the two hanging out at her house, and Lily all, "Can you help me pick out an outfit for my cousin's wedding?" And Sev all, "IF THAT WOULD MAKE YOU HAPPY THEN OF COURSE I WOULD." Pathetic, but cute.
I guess to give you a peek into my fantastically fangirly and possibly/probably/admittedly delusional brain, I'll finally post the summer!fic. (My only two comments in advance are first about the monstrous Star Wars geeks I made the two of them into. Shoot me, please. Second, about the little part where Lily pats Severus on the head? If he weren't so down at that moment, he would surely have said, "I would prefer if you would refrain from petting me like a rabbit.")
Edit: BTW? I'm perfectly aware that Star Wars hadn't come out yet. I realized that after I had gotten all the ideas, and then I was just like, "screw it, I'll just put it in there anyway." =D

Looking back, I thought I had alot more things I wanted to talk about, but that's okay.
So first off, I was watching James and the Giant Peach with my mum the other night, what with it being on TV and all. Cripes. I hadn't watched that since I had it on VHS. V. H. S. (I may know all about these newfangled iPods and such, but technology can certainly make anyone feel a little old, even if they aren't.)
But anyway, I remembered a lot more of it than I would have thought; you know, but I totally wasn't humming along with any of the songs or anything like that. I swear. However, I did remember quite vividly that I liked the grasshopper best, and I never had any idea why. Watching it again, it's quite obvious.
Mr. Grasshopper is the British professor-ly type.
And I was, like, six.
That's not weird at all...
So, going down the list, I went to my brother's Court of Honor for Boy Scouts, and I was quite surprised with some familiar faces: kids who are in my english class, in my art class, who poke me in the head, or have a strange shoebox!Sirius/Minerva relationship with my bio teacher... By I also saw a familiar face not from school, but from fandom, by which I mean I saw ickle!Snape's incarnate in the Viking patrol. (Or was it the Liberty Bells...) But anyway, even my friend Amy, who is not a Potterhead, agreed with me. I was like, "OMG Amy, there's this kid that looks just like little!Snape!" "Where?" "I dunno, somewhere- He has shoulder-length, slightly greasy black hair, and a big nose, and is kinda pale and skinny." And immediately she says, "Oh, that's Eli!" ELI = SEV = WINNNNN~
Yesterday, Ms. Beekley took one look at the guys of the english class all grouped together for a project and said, "NO FRICKIN' WAY," as loud as she possibly could.
Tyler said he would play Professor Layton soon. I sort of prodded him in Psych class, talking about how it was very European and nice. Also, I told him about this review I read on the internet, and how it compared PL to the (second?) Die Hard movie, all, "Some of these might give Jeremy Irons a run for his money!" This image will be burned into my mind forever, of Layton jumping out of helicopters and running the Laytonmobile off the side of an overpass.
Did you know that Tyler owns a pet chinchilla, wants to live in Scandinavia, plans to be a dentist, and likes tea with those funky holiday sugar cookies that come out of a tube?
Speaking of sweets, I ended up making fandom cupcakes for my secret santa person, Kenny. There was a Rebel Alliance (Star Wars) cupcake, a spiderman, Battlestar Galactica, creepyface, star trek, Kid Flash, Green Lantern, two with the Chinese characters for Serenity, and three with "not" "a" "lie." It was pretty great. Unfortunately, Elise brought them back to me in homeroom all, "You forgot your cupcakes! =DDDDDDDD" And I was just like, "DDDDDDDD=" I was up until 11:30 finishing those... I left one for Ms. Colotti, though, the most lovable and adorable art teacher ever (also, probably the most gorgeous.) And then the Flash one was supposed to go to Mr. Muller, but he wasn't there, so I gave it to Mr. Mintz. To which he said, "Awww, you're so sweet!" and I was just like, " ILU =DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD"
Can't you tell she gave my a book of lolcatz? 'Cause she did. That, along with DR. HORRIBLE ON DVD OMG HOLY CRAP AAAAAAAAH!
*I, on the other hand, am covertly attempting Giles!fic.*
My dad watched Juno the other night, apparently, and says that Juno herself sort of reminded him of me. I can see how that would be a compliment in the sense of being mature and quirky, buuuuut...
I figured it out. I've always liked music with snazzy violin pieces, and I never was able to put my finger on what exactly the genre was. It there a snazzy-violin genre? No, but there's Celtic music. Ooooh, so that's why I like River's Jig so much. =DDDDDDD So now I have this song in my head and it's very lovely, really.
There's this Youtube video of 40 inspirational speeches in 2 minutes, all from different movies and stuff. It's awesome. I spied some Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, Apollo 13, Orli Bloom in something, Robin Hood (the lovely one with Alan,) At World's End, Dead Poet's Society, Galaxy Quest (which also has Alan in it,) and something where Lockart is surprisingly not a Nazi for once. It's very cool.
I could talk more about Youtube vids, but while I'm on the topic... It's true. Kenneth Branagh, who was Lockhart, has been a Nazi in every other thing I've seen him in. Most recently, I was watching TV when I saw a commercial for Valkirie, and was all "OMG WAZ THAT LOCKHART?" And it was. Speaking of which, I'm usually not into Nazi movies, but this one has the above mentioned, Bill Nighy, Tom Hollander... A little Davy/Beckett reunion there. And then I don't know what Eddie Izzard is doing, but he's there.
On the topic of movies? Boy In Striped Pajmas, with David Thewlis? It didn't get very good reviews. DDDDDDD= (To which I say, how bad can it be with Remus in it?)
I'll post some cupcake pictures later, but that's it for now.
