There is nothing better than watching Silent Hill at midnight. Granted, I didn’t think it was very scary, but maybe that’s just because it was more like, “LOL IT’S PYRAMIDHEAD” and less “OMG HE’S GONNA RAPE ME TO DEATH.” Then again, things like that happened alot in this movie, where I was more giggly than scared... Let me go about this in a more organized manner.
Edit: Actually, I remembered what I wanted to talk about. I find it interesting that Silent Hill takes on so many incarnations, and none of them seem more canon than the next. You have 1 and 3, with the religious crazies led by Dahlia and Alessa releasing God, and then 2, where SH is all Star Wars-like, where it's "only what you bring with you," or the movie where they burned Alessa as a witch and the Otherworld is her revenge (actually the movie has 3 Alessas, go figure.) Personally, I like the second one best, but that's just me.

OMG new HBP posters! (Though, aside from the Snape!squee, I have to wonder why they keep pairing Slughorn with Hermione in all of the promos. It's worrying me.)
So Friday was my Confirmation, and I asked Mum what time we would get home. She said about nine-ish, and I asked if it wouldn't be before nine, because Dollhouse was on. "But it's Confirmation." zarla FOR ALL THIS TIME AND IT WAS RIGHT UNDER MY NOSE ASDFGHJKL;!?!?!? Even though it is not the first one, which is of course the fandom she follows. But I also found a Buffy game for the Xbox, circa early Season 2? We've met Spike, but Angel is still good. Haven't played it yet. Anyway~ I had forgotten about one of my favorite games ever. The two Knights of the Old Republic? A+++++. I really should play at least the first one again, because, you know. <3333But yeah, so we played through as far as we could in my first semi-serious game, which is quite difficult, actually. I can't believe the old Genesis still works, though. *They just don't make 'em like that anymore. XD* But yeah, possibly another of my favorite games would be SoulCaliber for Dreamcast (most possibly my favorite system ever) which is good because both my dad and I are good at it. He still wins about 60% of the time, but that's much better than the 95% when I was ten. Though, what a ten year old was doing playing Soul Caliber I do not know. (LIZARDMAN GRAHHHHH~) (Also Ivy is really great, but she really needs to put some clothes on. XDDD)
Dad says he has an Atari 2600 and a ColecoVision hanging around somewhere too. For God's sakes, those are from the early eighties!

lyricalecho and I watched seven episodes of Buffy in less than 24 hours. It went: three episodes, SNL, sleep, one episode, breakfast, a walk (haha!) and then three more episodes. God, the finale was so amazing. Just... Ahhhhhh~ I loved all those episodes to pieces, I wouldn't even know where to start. What I did start, however, was singing the Buffy theme more like, "GREEN BEANS, THEY ARE GREEN BEANS, THEY ARE GOOD FOR YOU, BECAUSE THEY'RE GREEN BEANS~"
I believe there was a bit of my summer!fluff!fic that describes Young Snape: "Instead, he merely wiped his forehead on the short sleeve of his favorite t-shirt: a worn blue Beatles one that his mother had gotten him for Christmas." I was after school on Wednesday and I saw Eli, AKA: Young Snape, and what was he wearing but the same short-sleeved blue Beatles t-shirt. (With the Yellow Submarine logo, actually.) It was awesome. And, I mean, he had the falling-apart converse sneakers, and the oversized, clunky headphones, and... =DDD Also, I heard him talk for the first time, and his voice is alot lower than I thought it would be. Actually, I know seniors whose voices aren't even that low. Do you think Snape grew into the deep AR!Snape voice that early on? (Because the AR!voice is totally canon, guys.)
I had a China meeting yesterday, and Beekley jokes abounded. Unfortunately, Mum found it fit to stay after and ask something along the lines of what would happen if I got certain female afflictions during the trip. I let this go for a bit, I was good, I swear, and then they wouldn't stop. (I don't care if China has CVS, okay!?) For gorram sake's, my mother is discussing my period with the Beek-Beast! After this, I am going to chase it from my mind. It never happened.
Also? Ms. Li? Mum said she was so cute, she would love to just 'eat her up with a spoon.' At least she's not cutting out her heart with it. XD "Because it hurts more, you twit!"

I would only assume that they spent quite a bit, if not all of their time together during the summer in particular. That being the case, do you think Lily ever included Severus in some of her more feminine activities? I guess to give you a peek into my fantastically fangirly and possibly/probably/admittedly delusional brain, I'll finally post the summer!fic. (My only two comments in advance are first about the monstrous Star Wars geeks I made the two of them into. Shoot me, please. Second, about the little part where Lily pats Severus on the head? If he weren't so down at that moment, he would surely have said, "I would prefer if you would refrain from petting me like a rabbit.")
Edit: BTW? I'm perfectly aware that Star Wars hadn't come out yet. I realized that after I had gotten all the ideas, and then I was just like, "screw it, I'll just put it in there anyway." =D
