She's Kind Of Emotionally Constipated...

Last weekends started a little rough, but then I went costume shopping with my dad and it was nice. I'd say I'm about 85% done, since I still need the hat and some patterns on the poncho. I think some sewing is going to be in order. You know what else makes everything better? Food. (And seriously, Legal Seafood is the greatest restaurant ever. You get some swordfish, and some snap peas, and that yummy rice with the peppers in it... And pretty much they just give it to you like that, without all of that fancy shit you don't want. :3)

BGAWK GRANDPA )

So yeah.

MOAR SNAEPKIDZ

colbert_sigh

Although, Snapekid was hanging out with this other kid who [info]chevy_the_geek  swears is just like Milan Lucic of the Boston Bruins, so I'm on the lookout for Loochkid as well. =DDD

Seriously, like, EVERYONE I KNOW has been telling me that they've seen him around, and for God's sakes, I've been seeing him *everywhere*. He's here and there like NEEYOOM NEEYOOM NEEYOOM. (Maybe he Apparates?) )

SO. On another note, (actually there are three more notes,) I first have a Silent Hill tidbit. Chevy recently had a dream in which PyramidHead was on Oprah for a makeover. Apparently he used to be a doctor in a really crumby area, and all the doctors made fun of him, and since it was in a rough part of town, he had to wear a bullet-proof helmet, so he pulled it all the way over his head and became PH. Also, his name is Drew. And he likes to wear Hawaiian shirts. I am now going to draw this.

Next, PROFESSOR LAYTON 2 TRAILER ASDFGHJKL;OMGOMGOMGOMGASDFGHJKL:frjjfjrsgrgjaargnho'ipriw- I first noticed the 'alcohol references' in the warnings label, and I have to wonder, "IS LAYTON SPIKING HIS TEA?" Also swooooord fiiiiights asdfghjkl; OMG ahhhhheeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!! <3333333333333 fdghjguiutllygiutgfghjm~

Lastly,[info]khoany stood up in English today when the topic of China was brought up, and she said, "BTW, guys? We are all going to get diarrhea. Definitely. But, it's going to be the best damn diarrhea we've ever had." To which I immediately responded, "Ain't it just!" Needless to say, we were both the only ones laughing hysterically.

Okay, so only a few more stitches and Layton's hat is done! I decided to make one on my own, since the one I had already was alright, but not great. Oh, and I also need to get some thick red ribbon for a hat band. Though, something tells me I'm going to gave to dig out some red cloth and the sewing machine. D= I also need to hem the back of my *waistcoat* since, you know, je suis petite. Aside from that, though... WARP 10! ENGAGE! =DDDD

I have teacher stories, and I'll make them quick. Beekley both verbally wished Matteo had gotten a pen in the eye, and said with the biggest grimace I have ever seen, "I'm always crying on the inside." And that's not taken out of context! XDDD Though, BTW, did you know I had a dream where Mr. Quadros was wearing my Star Trek shirt? ...And then I forgot my homework. -_-; (And by the way, I went to this award ceremony last night, and I thought I might get an award in English, but then [info]chevy_the_geek  reminded me that Beekley is the only teacher who doesn't give out awards. GRUMBLE GRUMBLE GRUMBLE.)

On a note that's 9000 times better, [info]khoany is watching Firefly! She came to tell our little group in the morning, and we all started screaming and jumping up and down. No news on favorite characters and the like, but I know it's so hard to choose anyway.... <333 She's also going to Anime Boston, which is a wonderful and amazing surprise, though it did lead me to wondering what was up with the Vocaloid fandom.[info]zarla had talked about it, and so when I heard KH's friends were cosplaying as some of those peeps, I had to go do some research/ actually ask Zarla. It turns out that almost everything about the fandom is just that:: fan-made. And I'm thinking, suh-weet!

Also, she said she was going to cosplay as a giant green dinosaur. And I'm thinking, Titans!dino? Which, of course, I can't remember what episode it's from but~

ISA BEEN HAVIN SUM POKEMANZ BATTULZ. No really. Amanda had an Action Replay, so... You know, that's awesome. I think I've accumulated all of my Pokemanz games into one spot for the first time, though. Well, I know my brother has a Leaf Green somewhere buuuuut... *giggle* Oh, God, I'm so hopeless. XDDD

Lichenstien Is Totally A Country

firefly

On Tuesday night, I had gotten back from play practice and was home alone, and I got a little spooked out. So, I just kept singing- my Beatles songs, then nearly the entire Dr. Horrible soundtrack... But now looking back, I don't know how any potential rapist would havebeen deterred by, "I might just sleep with the same girl twice/ They say it's better the second time/ They say you get to do the weird stuff~"

Ugh, I was beating myself over the head today, 'cause I saw Rachel talking to Snapekid, AND I DON'T KNOW WHY I DIDN'T SAY HI. I should have. (shit) (Although I did drive my elbow through [info]lyricalecho's arm this morning, trying to get her to see him walking down the hall with his dork!glasses.)

I'm trying to get [info]khoanyto watch Firefly. I mean, I can't think of anything she'd like more than Chinese-speaking cowboy-space-pirates.

You know what's neat? Lately, (and this has happened three times already,) if I'm having a bad dream, I slap myelf in the face really hard, and the dream changes. =D I did that night before last when confronted with an angry Chuck Norris.

BUT HERE'S THE IMPORTANT THING:

Behind the backs of Peach and Daisy, Mario and Luigi are actually huge Bruins fans... )

Snaaaape~!

So, I was sitting on the windowsill by the bench in the hall this morning, and I wasn't really talking to anyone since most everyone is in Italy for the band/chorus trip. So I'm trying to study and I'm looking up briefly, and all the sudden I see this girl walking past me with a giant plush Companion Cube under her arm. I'm speechless for a second, but she's already walking away, so I jump up and burst out with a, "OH MY GOD IS THAT A COMPANION CUBE!?!?" She barely even turns around, and sticks her thumb up like, "You bet!" And keeps walking.[info]stella_muse turns to me, wide-eyed, and says, "Wow. You... You kinda screamed at her." And of course I look up to see several people looking at me funny. It was the pinnacle of dorkiness, and secretly, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Now I have[info]lyricalecho looking out for Eli!Snape too. But I was in Math class, and somehow we got talking about how kids are wearing those huge headphones now, and I kinda laughed and mentioned to Rachel, "Yeah, there's this freshman who practically has those glued to his head. My friends and I call him Snape!kid." And she laughs too and says, "Hey, are you talking about Eli?" And I'm like, "YES, OMG, I'M NOT INSANE." So I hesitantly asked her if he was an okay kid and stuff, and not a jerk, and she said that he was totally nice, but sort of quiet and stuff. Also, they're apparently really good friends, since she was telling me how he, and I quote, "Totally kicked my ass in Super Smash Brothers. He beat me sixteen times- I counted. But he was kinda nice about it, since he didn't make fun of me or anything. He was just kinda smug." You have no idea how young!videogamenerd!Snape makes me giggle. You know, with the Xbox headset and everything? =DDD <333

Pour mon anniversaire...  )

ECHO, ECHO, MY GIFT FOR YOUR BRITHDAY IS ALL SET OMG~

Hey, speaking of Monty Python, I was in French today and since it was right before vacation, we were playing this tag game where you can only be tagged if you're not sitting on a desk. Mr. Quadros, looking ridiculous with his terrorist beard and 12 year-old attire, pointed out that it's only fun if you run around and taunt them a little bit, which then led us to shout many a French Taunt. "YOU SILLY ARTHUR-KING!"

AND LASTLY. The newest Half-Blood Prince trailer? Wow. Just... Oh my GOD. I'm sort of glad that they're finally addressing the Draco thing and, you know, giving him some kind of backbone. Also, I'm very happy to see the Sectumsempra scene, which means we get to see Snape's mad healing skillz (even though I think that it would be pretty awesome anyway. My question is how they're going to do that while staying in the PG rating, which is stupid anyway.) I am wondering though, what the deal is with this new thing at the Burrow, which, while I'm super excited to see a little Remus action, I'm not sure what we're giving up in exchange.

I suppose my biggest concern is this: Snape seems really chillax in the Flight of the Prince, whereas someone on Snapecast quoted him as being, “. .demented, inhuman, as though he was in as much pain as the yelping, howling dog stuck in the burning house behind them-” To be honest, I'm thinking Malfoy's expression was fairly fitting. (Although, to be honest, I sort of knew this would happen with Alan Rickman. I do love him to pieces, and he's a wonderful actor, but when it come to intensely emotional scenes... It's just not his forte.)

Otherwise, Katie Bell's issues were fairly creepy-looking, though I felt better with that familiar [nancy-boy] shot of Luna [I love so much.] Also... Oh, the ickle!Voldie thing. I'm glad we got some new footage of that, 'cause it's been mostly the same clips up until this point.

Right, I forgot to mention. That one line that Snape gets? "It's over." It's kind of intense and awesome. And also that shot of his [not]dueling with Harry, when it pans back really far... That is an amazing shot there, and perfect for making neat avatars.

AHAHAHAHA- Oh, S#%@ I don't feel like waiting until July.

I Don't Know Why This Icon Amuses Me So~

SLAAAADE

Oooh, goodness. I've been putting this off for forever. I'll put down the stuff that I've already said outloud, but wish to stick in here for future reference.

For example, Nutella is my new favorite food. It's like spreadable hazelnut chocolate in a jar.

Also, Portal is AWESOME. I'm only at Room 16, so I'm not quite done yet. Though, I might chance to ask how it is that[info]lyricalecho knows GLaDOS' lines better than I do, and yet her copy of the game lies on the floor of the bedroom with the plastic wrap still on it.

"If you become lightheaded from thirst, feel free to pass out."

DOLLHOOOOOOOOUSE SPOILERS~ )

Also Buffy, whee! Ms. Walsh is either going to be helpful, bad, or dead- and I don't know which one yet. Xander is awesome and deep with his whole Dark Side speech, and Willow's hair is =DDDDDD I'll hopfeully watch the rest of the disc this weekend.

Well, today I saw Eli!Snape again. I guess he usually wears contacts or something, because today he was wearing these great glasses that were a little Mark a la Rent. You know, the rectangular ones with the thick black frames? Yeah. It made me smile inside.

Is it bad that I find this ---->  www.hulu.com/watch/40438/sesame-street-soliloquy-on-b#s-p11-st-i1 "excruciatingly humorous?"

Seaking of Patrick Stewart, I had this dream night before last, where I was driving somewhere and there were all these guys dressed up as Professor X and Magneto, and I was like, "What's with this?" and someone was like, "Duh- The Wolverine movie came out!" Which I find funny, because I don't think either are going to be in it.

Soon after that, the dream shifted suddenly to where I was River, and I was in some desert army base, and a nuclear bomb went off (guess where that came from) and I figured out that that's why I/River was crazy. In layman's terms, speedy thing goes in, speedy thing comes out River is insane because of a giant nuclear explosion.

I mentioned to Echo that I wanted to get a treadmill for my birthday, because I want to be in better shape and maybe join track next year. She proceeded to shun me.

Speaking of birthdays... I KNOW WHAT I'M GETTING EEEEECHOOOOOOO~

I keep playing Penny's Song over and over again, and I keep singing it when the house is empty, 'cause I'm going to do it for this audition next weekend. (Music Review. Beatles. Indie-Rock. Be there. PEACE.) Also, I'm posting it so that I won't chicken out and blow it off.

Kelsey is NOT DEAD YEEEEEET~

AGGRESSIVE SELF-ESTEEM

POKEMANZ

They didn't let us out of school today. Thank you, Mr./Ms. Superintendent, you are of no help to me.

I ate a cookie for breakfast. Bah. Actually, that led [info]lyricalecho to say that sometimes I'm like a grown woman, trapped inside a teeny-tiny teenage body. I'm still not sure if I should have laughed or punched her in the face. (NOOOO OF COURSE I DON'T WANT TO PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE)

I love how I went to the mall and picked out this really cute, bright green trenchcoat-y type thing, thinking, "Oh! It's warm; it must be spring! I'm going to need something lightweight and spring-y like this!" And now there's, like, a foot of snow on the ground.

Speaking of that shopping trip, I found the Snape!dress for almost a hundred dollars less than when I saw it in January. Unfortunately, there was only a size six and a size eight left, which on me, is like... Well, like not wearing it at all, I guess. I took a picture, though! Thing is, I can't quite get it from my phone to my computer, due to a sad lack of Thingy-Ma-Jiggies That I Don't Understand. I'll work on that, promise.

Speaking of Snape (to the roaring groan of Many...) I was poking around deviantart the other day and there was this one comic (by gilll, I believe) and I could not stop laughing at this one panel.

When it comes to alcohol, Snape is quite comfortable with elf-made wine. Firewhiskey... Not so much. )

Lastly, I'd like to point out that I think I'm turning into Echo's little sister. I was out to dinner at Legal Seafood (which I lurrrrve) and the waiter guy was so cute I couldn't stand it. Like, Simon with glasses, with the proper and the mildly peppy... Or maybe Layton, now that I think. Oh! Except like Oz! 'Cause I was on my way out and I walked by him, and he wasn't much taller than I was. I mean, Oz is about 5'4", right? Eeeeeee~ <3

OH I FORGOT. [info]stella_muse YOU ARE PLAYING PROFESSOR LAYTOOOOOOON~ YOU ARE SO AWESOOOOOOOME~ THANK YOOOOOU~

Argh. I have to write an abstract for history, and unless my LJ is concerned with the social and economic effects on twentieth century fishing schooners on Gloucester and the country as wel know it... Well, I g2g. XD

PUPPIES~ IT MUST BE PUPPIES~

  • Mar. 7th, 2009 at 9:01 AM
Snaaaape~!
I had a bunch of other blurbs, but I can't really remember. Here's an LJ dump as it is:

On Thursday, I had three Palin references: in history ("MAVERICKS!") then in bio, ("Don't you go hatin' on me and Tripp, Mrs. Rowett!") and then in theatre we had a skit where we were the Russians peeking into her living room.

Chevy decided that we should kill two birds with one stone and shave off Mr. Quadros' beard (still ridiculous) and glue it to Ms. Beekley's face when she's asleep in Serino's back room.

[info]lyricalecho's been having a rough time, so I made her brownies and my mum let her borrow a pair of kitchen tongs that she had wrapped in shiny wrapping paper. Long story; you'd 'TL;DR.'

You know you like a teacher (Mr. Mintz) when you see him in the parking lot from the bus and go all "=DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD HI MR. MINTZ!!!!" even though you're sure he has no clu that you're there.

I had this dream where I was a secret agent, and this lady came and hugged me and was all, "OH, SWEETIE, IT'S SO GOOD TO HAVE YOU HERE!" and I'm looking over her shoulder like 'nyahhhh' and... Hey, there's Snape. So I'm staring at him, and he walks in, walks through, walks out, and that's the end of it. =D

Emily was attacked by a gorilla in art yesterday. She turned around, stared at the thing, and muttered a small, "Oh shit." It was just as bad as the day before, when she presented her abstract sculpture which represents the socio-economic and moral and divide between Mexico and America. Mrs. Samaha says, "It looks like a butt!" To this, we entered a discussion on whether or not she had just mooned North America, and how Canada was either "Hey, we didn't do anything! What did we do to deserve this!?" (to which Emily replies, "They're part of NATO, of course they had it coming.") or rather "KIDS, DON'T MAKE ME COME DOWN THERE!!!"

Have you ever noticed that you can take any horrible situation, replace one word with 'puppy' or 'puppies' and immediately it's a bazillion times better/ more pleasant?

Mara? She's totally friends with Tracey, a la The Message. We had a complete geek out together over Firefly and Dr. Horrible, and we were singing My Freeze Ray, and the whole things was just amazing. SO much squeeing.

I want to watch Dollhouse this weekend, but I have something decidedly Pressing and Important that really Must Be Done.

Also,[info]chevy_the_geek, you may want to check out: http://community.livejournal.com/church_of_nph/91415.html

So now I'm sitting here watching old Star Trek episodes. Spock is awesome, BTW. He figured out that they could defeat these aliens by making them eat "food" (AKA giant lucky charms) and booze. (Star Trek NG is still my favorite, lyk rlly.)

*pulls out a bottle of alcohol* "Uh... What is this?" "It's... It's... Green!"
Snaaaape~!
Oh God, I've been sick. The flu, I think, but at least we have a snow day today so I can rest. But yesterday sucked. The night before I couldn't sleep at all, and even though I went to the doctors the next day, I was just miserable. I would have preferred school.

But I'm better today, so I finally got around to getting a dress pic up here. Aaaand... Voila!

Pictures under the cut! )

So yeah, that's what the semi dress looks like. It was either Abby or Becca that took one look at it and said, "OMG, you look just like River!" To which I paused and said, "Um... Is that a good thing?" And then we went on this whole thing about how I technically needed a big slit up the side, and Becca offered to make one and was was just like, "Uuuuh, no."

In the Hellboy section of last post, I forgot to point something out. Remember Howdy Doody from the beginning? Remember Howdy Doody from D's birthday card? I love how they were trying to make a point that it was a long time ago, and I'd imagine D would just be like, "DDDDDD=" To be honest, I don't know which was scarier, Hellboy or Howdy Doody.

---APOLLO JUSTICE SPOILERS BELOW----

Ok, so in French we had vocab words and one of them was 'mirror' or 'le miroir.' If we were to pretend it was feminine, we might even have 'Lamiroir,' thereby assuming that Apollo looks very much like his mother. I dunno, but if I can get a squeal out of French class, it's worth posting.

(End of spoilers! Just, I hate spoiler-y things; getting spoiled is my pet peeve. XD)

I saw Inkheart with [info]lyricalecho on Monday, before I got all sick. It was soooo good. Mo was adorable, and Farid looked just like this guy I had in my art class last year, and Fenoglio all, "Look, it's Basta! =D" and Dustfinger. We all giggled a little during his shirtless scene, especially Echo's sister who noted, "Heehee, he's buff."

Echo also pointed out that Capricorn has joined the ranks of Bald-Villains-I-Can't-Bring-Myself-To-Respect. It's true, though, with his duct tape and being such a lying liar... I'm not sure if he's even sillier than The Master, what with his, "*cue earthquake* I'LL DESTROY THE WORLD!!! ...Huh. What do you think that was, a 5.1?"

*Heehee, Jeff Dunham avatars!*

So, night before last I was too sick to sleep, so I ended up rereading the first few chapters of Inkspell. The movie messed me up a little bit, though, 'cause I was like, "Whoa, Dustfinger isn't in the Inkworld. Whoa, Basta and Mortola are alive. Whoa, Farid's not living with them. Whoa, Darius is there. Whoa, Resa can't talk."

Of course, I tried to go to sleep after that, and I couldn't. So, you know what happens when you want to sleep but can't: you get a plot bunny. And I figured, "Heck, I can't go to school tomorrow anyway!" So I got up and blasted out 1.6k of Snilly goodness. Currently, it's nearly 4k. I mean, it's not Snilly, per se. It's more like Sev being Lily's go-to guy friend, and Sev is just sort of wistful and quiet about how he feels. It's also a summertime thing, so they're mostly just hanging out and being giggly and best buddy-like. I might post it when I'm done. If nothing else, I need to start a new Fanfiction.net account. Start fresh and all. Giley!fic can go up there too, and the Royal!fic if I'm ever moved to finish that. And of course, my Life's Work, whenever that's gorram done with.

Look, it's shorter!

Om Nom Nom~

  • Dec. 22nd, 2008 at 4:19 PM
HOOOOOOUSE~

This post is very straightforward. Cupcake-y goodness is under the cut.

MOAR CUPCAKES~ )

So that's what those are. It's ok though, since I brought in cookies for Kenny to make up for the above cupcakes that he did not get, along with a drawing of Maya from Phoenix Wright which I scanned and everything. The original's in my locker and all. I swear, the look on his face was sort of like a mix between :3 and ^.^ and everyone started hugging me, and hee!

I have more, but I need to make another post and all. I'll be back to this.

I Was Daring Today

  • Dec. 8th, 2008 at 4:34 PM
Halloween!Giles

I stayed home from school, even though I wasn't sick.

...

Ok, so I wasn't so daring. I did homework most of the day. But enough of this.

MY FANDOM HAD BEEN TURNED UPSIDE DOWN.

Mostly, at least.

There's no place I would be, since I found Serenity... [MAJOR SPOILERS AAAAAAUGH DON'T LOOK ERIKA THAT MEANS YOU] )

Now. Buffy. Wow. I say this because, although the show does catch my interest and I do like it... GILES GILES GILES GILES OMGGGGGG... He... He, like, is what the core of the List is. He's a somewhat magical, snarky, British professor. You'll find I have many British professors: Snape, Giles, Remus, Layton... And, well, if they aren't professors, they're lawyers or doctors, BUT ANYWAY~ He's just sooooo cute. With Remus' 'awww' factor, and Sev's snark (though it's usually lovingly meant,) and Layton's tendency to be on top of things, and Hatori's cynicism, and Miles' caring coolness, and Abe's awkwardness, and dude, do I have a point here? Oh, and he has a crappy car like Gumshoe. *I sense a usurpation in the List...* So cuuuuuuuuuute.... I mean, he even makes just eating an apple look cute. All, "Munch, munch, munch." (May I point out? Giles training Buffy in the library with the sparring pads = Remus training Harry with the Patronus. JUST SAYING.) So cute, so cute, so cute... He's shot up to #6, to be specific.

SO WHAT ELSE...

Oh. And among all of this, I'm on a bit of a House kick, which I've decidedly added to my list of fandoms. (Thank you, mum.) Dr. Wilson is still so on my List, and Echo's sister would be madly in love with Dr. Chase. SPEAKING OF WHICH... I watched the bloopers for Season 2 while I was at it, and MY GOD, after four times already I can't stop laughing. My favorite is how House calls Dr. Chase an "Antipodean fleck of bum fluff!"

Antipodean fleck of bum fluff.

Feeling Better

neil_hugs

Much, much better. My tests are over, and although I have a quiz tomorrow and two more tests on Monday, I'm not worried about those at all. (Although I have a Psych paper to do and that's unfortunate.) BUT ANYWAY~

[info]lyricalecho</lj> . You are not a dumbass, dearie. Quite frankly, you are probably on of the most brilliant, thoughtful non-asses ever. Because really. Most friends do not write multiverse!fics for their friends on the offhand. They do not risk catching the bus, and they do not run into one of the most feared teacher's room to print it out. Most don't. =DDDDDDDDI Have Been Gifted With The Greatest Multiverse Fic EVER To Be Written By Mortal Hands )

So. Although everything has been eclipsed by the multiverse!fic, there are still other snippets to declare upon my journal. For example: for future reference, "happy" in Spanish is not "happyoso," and the next time my brother draws something for his Spanish homework, I know that it is actually a worm in an apple and not an old guy with liver spots /global warming with a thermometer in Africa /a rotten tomato smoking pot.

I got this awesome Marvel!verse t-shirt. Best freaking thing ever. I mean really: if you can find a shirt with Wolverine on it, you've got yourself a gem.

I need to get my Sarah Palin costume together for tomorrow. How on earth am I going to do my hair? I know I'll be sitting there in front of the mirror tomorrow morning, pulling an Echo and be all "frigging frick on a biscuit."

I was humming Layton's theme song all day.

Some kid had a lightsaber on their iPhone. It was all "NEEEEROOOM. FWISH. NEEEEER-KEET!"

I couldn't fall asleep Tuesday night and I tried everything. I even took my Snape!figure (compliments[info]lyricalecho) off my bookcase and put him on my nightstand. And strangely... It worked. O_o This is not a good sign. Granted, I put him back in the morning, but... It's like... An entity in my room. A Snape-y presence. XDDDDDDDD ILU SPOOKY HALLOWEEN CRACK!BRAIN~ Hey. Hannah sleeps with Sirius sometimes, doesn't she?

Ok. Later. I need to talk about the Trailer, and I want to discuss NaNo, and I took some AWESOME pictures of my bedroom that reminded me that I want to post a pic of my fandom!bookcase.

That's all, since I need to do Palin-y things in the morning. G'night!

Also? I can kill you with my brain. ^.^

Before I talk about cats, I want to throw something out. I think my mum has my number.

I'm doing this english paper, and I took a break a little while ago. My mum, on the other side of the counter, says, "You're doing Snape stuff, aren't you?"
"Huh?"
"I can see it in your eyes. You have a certain look when you're doing homework, and then another look when you're doing Snape stuff."
"But I'm not doing Snape stuff. I'm on Youtube."
"Yeah, but it's all Snape stuff. There are really only two categories."
"Not really. I have plenty of other fandoms."
"I know, I know, but it's like, *school stuff* and *Snape stuff.* That's it."

SO. I was poking around Youtube, and I found this clip of Nathan Fillion on Ellen. (Also, his "soap expressions" are, 'Did I leave the stove on?' 'Oh. I think I left the stove on.' and 'Noooo, I turned the stove off.' XDDDDDDDD) Basically, he was telling a story about this cat that he has, and how it "came with the house," and how it's ridiculously old and how it sort of grew on him, etc. etc. And that made me think of this conversation I had with [info]lyricalecho about different characters and if they had cats. So...

Nathan: She always slept in this little flower box, so I named her Dirty!Cat. That, and she would always inappropriately lick herself when we had company over.

Abe: Aside from Abe being a fish-man, I think he'd enjoy having a cat. I can just see him being, "Hellboy, why do you have so many cats? Personally, I find only one's company to be perfectly adequate." Or much else, "Ah, Hellboy? My feline creature is exhibiting a most peculiar behavior. Tell me, is it customary for them to lick themselves so often? Or do you suppose the poor thing is possessed?"
Professor Layton: "This litter box reminds me of a puzzle!" XD But really, I think he would probably get one to make Luke happy. =D
Michael Scott: "Oh hey, a CAT! Here kitty, kitty, kitty, ki- @#$%! IT @#$%*& SCRATCHED ME, YOU @#$%&! @#$%!"
Remus: Despite Shoebox, I think canon!Remus would like a cat. Sirius would be furious, but I think a Lupin family cat would be cute, as long as they kept it inside during the full moon... D=
Snape: Actually, Snape had a cat during this fanfic I'm writing, but it died around mid-GoF. He was kinda upset about it. D= But then I have post-war-not-dead-Snape, and he finds a stray on his doorstep in Spinner's End, and decides that he might as well keep it, "as long as it won't be a bother to me." Also, Snape loves his new kitty, and IT'S FREAKING ADORABLE.
Hatori: I think if he could get over the whole Kyo thing, he'd do pretty well with a cat. But Kyo is rather difficult to forget...
Diego: "Kitten! Kitten!" "Huh?" asks Mia. "Oh, nothing baby doll. I was talking to the new cat." Mia: ]:<
Miles: Already has a dog. Pess does not need a companion.
Pearly: + kitten = DOES NOT COMPUTE <33333333333333333333333
Manfred: ...Would eat it. Alive. In front of a six-year-old Franny.
Franny: ... Might, like Snape, feel sympathetic if it were homeless, and decide that it might be somewhat tolerable if it weren't too cute.
Gumshoe: ... Would give it to Maggey. He would be too afraid of not being able to afford cat food, or accidentally sitting on it. DDDDDD=
Wash and Zoe: Wash would be all, "Zoeeeeee! Can we get a kitty pleeeeeeease?" "No." "Pleeeeeeeease?" "No. The captain wouldn't want an animal on the ship." "But Zoeeeeee..." "It'll chew up your dinosaurs." "... Okay, I guess..."
Kaylee: "Can I get a kitten, cap'n?" "No, Kalyee. It'll get caught in the engine or something." "Ohhhhh... Right, cap'n. We wouldn't want the little bugger to get hurt, would we?"
Royston: "Ah... Hal... I- I knew you were sick, I was walking home from the Basquiat alone, and... I bought you a kitten. Do you like him?" *D'AWWWW*
Rook: "Can Have eat it?" "No..." "Don't want it."
Dahlia: ...Would do just like Manny, only somehow worse, or in front of an audience of six-year-olds (or in front of Pearly DDDDDD=)
Davy Jones: This amuses me to no end.
Barbossa: He might like an evil cat. Well, actually, the monkey is sort of his pet, so I guess he doesn't need another one, right?
Captain Shakespeare: ...Would have a fluffy white Persian. XD
Dr. Horrible: See, this one is hard. I sort of think Billy is more of a dog person, but I don't think the Evil League of Evil would allow pets. Except for piranhas, or something.

But yeah, I was just thinking. XDDDDD

OH. I watched War Stories (DDDDDDDDDDD= WAAAAASH!) and Trash (ZOMG I HATE YOU DAHLIA HAWTHORNE!!!!!) and a Hellboy movie (AAAAABE WHY DOES NO ONE CARE ABOUT YOUR BOO-BOOS!?!?!?!?!?) and then The Message (which was sad.)

Also, naked Nathan Fillion. (Which is half XD and half O_o)

I HAVE TO DO MY ENGLISH PAPER! "FRICK FRICK FRICKETY FRICK!"

A Week In Blurbs

I've had no time to really post all the little things that happened this week, for reasons that are neither entertaining nor even interesting.

Today was strange. I almost got mowed over by a runaway wheelchair, I found a lone straight noodle in my lunch of curly ones, and I saw four Teletubbies, a gorilla, a girl covered in caution tape, and a half-naked guy in a Native American headdress. Such was the end of Homecoming.

Also, I was somewhat excited about the presidential debate, and I stayed up late to watch it. The few things I gleaned from it were: that Barack Obama has super shiny shoes, and blinks approximately 82 times a minute, and that John McCain opposes nailing jello to walls.

I got[info]stella_muse to read Havemercy. She loves it. SUCCESS!

I was in Psychology, and we were talking about Konrad Lorenz, who did that thing with geese and imprinting and stuff. So afterword I went over to this kid, Steven, and said, "Well, that Lorenz guy might have had all these goslings following him around, but at least he didn't juggle them." =D

I had a particularly Snape-y bout of geekery on Wednesday. I went to the Fair again, and I went into the beekeeping place to get some of those honey sticks that rot your teeth. They had an exhibit talking about different kinds of honey taken from bees who had been pollinating different kinds of plants. I saw one jar labeled 'asphodel' and immediately (and nonchalantly) thought, "Oh, if only they had wolfsbane, we could make some Drought of the Living Death!"

Also at the Fair, I saw a 1,400 pound, big-ass pumpkin, and a guy that looked just like Harrison Ford.

My mum is redoing the outside of the house, and she was worrying about the landscape. To D she said, "I know the shorter ones are cheaper, but would the taller ones hide the foundation?" To which I said, "You should get some of each, and have the two-level effect! With a little path down the middle!"

[info]lyricalecho told me to go watch Neil Patrick Harris chatting with Elmo on Sesame Street. I think she was trying to kill me with cute, I swear. I mean... D'AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! *hence the avatar- just a 100x100 taste of otherwise lethal adorableness*

After my last post, LE and I got into a bit of a playful tiff about whether I was correct in using the word "suave" to describe Snape. For future reference, I was using it in the context of being "sophisticated and elegant." I was certainly not using it to say he was a social butterfly- which I find so laughable, I'm wholly guilty of mocking the poor fellow.

Also, there was some joke about Voldemort being green that I can't remember.

The hero of Caaaaaaanton, the man they call Jaaaaaaaayne~ )

Snaaaape~!

Wow. Ok, so, first Professor Layton. This is the greatest game ever, except the puzzles are too hard. Or maybe I'm just stupid. But really, I could do all the ones with the mazes, and the "Get the ball in the hole" ones, and the pitchers and stuff, but the math ones were just ridiculous. It got to the point where I would go up to my mum and be like, "Ok, you have three red cats and four black cats-" "Don't ask; I don't know." So...

No spoilers are the key to success! )

OK. So that's all the PL for now. IN THE MEANTIME I WATCHED THE FIRST TWO EPISODES OF FIREFLY AND WOW>

I don't have anything witty for this, but Firefly is still sooooo cool. )

Aaaand... That's all I have right now. More later, I guess, but now I have to do my homework. *Do you think Professor Layton could count for math homework?* I might run it by my teacher. XD

OH, OH> LAYTON'S FIRST NAME IS HERSHEL. HOW FREAKING CUTE IS THAT?

All The Things To Do Today...

Snaaaape~!

Ok, so, I'm still sick, and it's Saturday, and[info]lyricalecho has given me a number of things to do, on top of all the other things I'm doing. So...

1. WATCH FIREFLY

2. Play Professor Layton - This I have already started, actually. AND? My brain. Hurts. So frigging bad. It's hard, people. But so cute! I <3 Layton sooo much. And you know what else? You know how the came turns on and they have the Level 5 credit, and it goes "Do-do-dwee, do-do-dwee!" (not Benny Goodman, guys...) But yeah, everytime I hear that, it makes me think of Link and Zelda, and the Hyrule theme/Sun's Song which has the same first two notes, except it goes, "Do-do-dwee, do-do-dwee, do-do-do dweeeeeeee!" *ahem* So anyway, I also found this puzzle in the Inn, and you have to make the outline of a woman. This would be much easier IF EVERYONE IN THIS TOWN DIDN'T LOOK SO WEIRD. I mean, really, it's like, oh, that's a woman. No? How about this? No? Argh. And also, poor scratched!Luke. He's just like, "Nuuuuuh? D,=" <3

3. Finish my Phoenix Wright doujinshi book.

4. Reread Eldest at some point, so I can read Brising'r. My friend Sam tried to give me spoilers, and I LIT UPON HER WITH THE RAGE OF A THOUSAND FLUFFY WHITE KITTIES. So, I'm happily spoiler-free.

5. Browse through Eclipse so I can read Breaking Dawn. I'm not a colossal fan of the series, hence only "browse."

6. Write my Royal fic and/or my Snape fic (the newer, shorter one.)

7. Look through Havemercy and get a list of the main scenes, for a poll on [info]thremedon

8. Do my history homework. Finished homework is a good thing.
