Okay! So, now that I've "got my sh!t together," as Zack would say, I can make one all-encompassing post about everything and anything Anime Boston. Really. There is going to be alot of this. (Though I won't post any pics of[info]khoany without asking her first because, you know, I'm nice like that.)

SO. I'll start with the Phoenix Wright peeps. It started when Marisa and I were looking for one of her friends in the Registration line. And there in front of me... "OMG HOBO!NICK!" And she turns around and goes, "OMG PROFESSOR LAYTON!" So we ended up chatting a little and taking a picture. So, later, I ran into Trucy, Gumshoe, and Apollo! They were really nice too, and I chatted some more, and happened to mention seeing Hobo!Nick. "That's cool," they say. And not five seconds after we part do I see Hobo!Nick on the other side of the escalators. So I sprint over there, all, "OMG I FOUND TRUCY AND APOLLO AND GUMSHOE COME QUICK," and then we both sprint all the way back and I'm like, "OMG I FOUND HOBO!NICK!" And then they all took more pictures

Also on the PW / AJ front, I found another Apollo, two Godots (one with the bloody tear *emo*,) Kristoph, Klavier, Ema, Phoenix, and freaking *Wellington* go figure. Early Sunday morning I saw a Trucy and Pearly together, and I couldn't get a picture and I was so disappointed. But later I ended up doing another sprint, this time across the Dealer's Hall, and finally caught up to them. Oh yes! And I did something similar with Franny, and ended up chasing her around the second floor, and finally she noticed me and was like, "OMG I'm sorry! Were you following me?" And me, of course, "*gasping* yessssss..." But she posed for a picture with the Link and Sarina that I had noticed earlier.

Also on Sunday morning, I was walking in from the mall after hunting down a Starbucks, and ended up seeing a Bakura! Apparently she was from New York or something, and it was like a four hour drive, but anyway, we ended up chatting (I know, more chatting) and talking about how downhill Yugioh went, and how it had some really wonderful characters, really. She also said she had seen Freaky Fish man, Mako, and I later hunted her down and took yet another picture. Actually I saw Bakura dueling someone later, and then found it on Youtube. *laughs* She argues that she's not evil because she has no Millenium Ring, but I know that it was just that one of the spiky things fell off earlier, "so it was just hiding." I suggested she just say Marik just yanked it off. XDDDD <333

Marisa's friend, Eden, insisted on me taking a picture of her and Pyramidhead, from Silent Hill. I should play that, even though I doubt I could make it through the first 10 minutes for being so scared. (I should also tell [info]zarla  about the Pyramidhead skit and the Masquerade.)

Speaking of people we shouldn't have been taking pictures with, Marisa somehow felt safe enough to snuggle up to Pedo!Bear...

Raven and Beast Boy, yay! (Though I saw BB by himself later; Raven must have dumped him! DDD=)

Aside from L, the Ouran peeps were probably the most numerous. There was also a Tamaki with a Hello Kitty head.

Avatar peeps were pretty amazing too, with maybe two or three Tophs, and a Katara. BUT. Well, I was in line for the Masquerade and found the most amazing Ty Lee and Mai ever. And though I was blinded by their infinite awesomeness, it was nothing compared to who I saw later. This is EXACTLY what Azula looks like. And quite fairly, it was my favorite cosplay of the weekend. Oh, and maybe second favorite (?) was Suki, whose costume was equally well-made and overall impressive.

Portal, woo!!! Someone went as the Companion Cube (though I saw another,) and someone went as the actual Cake itself. How awesome is that, anyway?

Pokemon abounded. There was the Meowth guy who had to take off his glasses for the picture, and then couldn't find them again because he was pretty much blind without them. Team Magma made and appearance, as did Dawn and a random Umbreon (and over 9000 Pikachus.)

SSB peeps did quite well too, with Shiek, Fox (which I couldn't get a good pic of,) Game and Watch and Pit.

But speaking of Zelda, I found a lovely Happy Mask Man in the Artist's Alley, and then a big group of peeps downstairs with different Links and the greatest Midna ever. Seriously, I overheard that the body paint took almost two hours.

Also doing very well were the Miyazaki peeps (which, BTW, Ponyo is coming out soon asdfghjkl;!) There were loads of Kikis, though I liked this one best, a Mononoke, and maybe two or three Howls, though this one was cutest. There was also this old lady who dressed up as Sophie, Turnip Head and all, and she had her husband carry around the speech bubble. It was so cute! (And I almost want to go as Nausicaa next year.)

Are these guys from Okami? Kaylee would know.

Other characters included Harvest Moon guy, who I loved, two Sangos together, Captain Hammer (=DDDD) Rorschach and Dr. Manhattan, a random Klingon, dead Barbossa and Dr. Who (who were both fantastic,) Fire Emblem peeps of whom I know nothing about save for stuff through Hail-Neko Yasha...

Totally random people included the caterpillar from Wonderland, a giant sushi with her jellyfish friend, Neko!sStormtroopers, Samarai!Abe Lincoln, Pants Man, and this guy.

I could not have asked for much more, as I decided to take a video of something as simple as walking down a hallway. What I came up with was a Top 10 Things To See in an AB hallway:

 1. Random swordfights
2. Companion Cubes everywhere
3. Friendly people
4. That chef guy that I keep seeing
5. "You need to upload this to YouTube."
6. Random hugs
7. Bursting into song
8. Law and Order (with moving lines!)
9. Casually pointing out potential photo shoots
10. Having a fanseizure over potential photo shoots

As you can see above, I found the owl guys again, and I certainly found the DMG. =DDDD

Also in the video department, it's easy to find the Team Rocket skit that was done at the Masquerade. What you can't find, is the first attempt. No, Team Rocket can't catch a break with Giovanni or the sound crew. (Though this one might be best in Full View.) =DDD Oh, right, and I found them later at the Abridged Series booth, and took a lovely picture.

Okay, so I think that's it for now. I'll probably post more videos, and a few pictures of khoany, if she'll let me. There's this really cute one of her with Rin and Lan, and it's just really cute.

Also if I have time, I'd like to put all my clips into a music video, BUT WE'LL SEE IF I HAVE TIME.

This Is Not An Emo Post

On the contrary, this is basically to offset my October emo post, or February, or whenever it was. At the awards ceremony I got a ''spirit" award in Bio (which I really don't care about because I hate that class) and "effort and achievement" in History. That's what's really meaningful, I think. It's like all that hard work I put into this year finally paid off. It's like someone noticed.

And then the list for Peer Leaders was posted, and it sort of reminded me of those movies where they have a cheerleading tryout, and there are literally two hundred people (really, literally) all crouding around and random girls bursting into tears because they didn't get chosen... But I did. I think it was the essay, how I was stressing the fact that I'm socially flexible (i.e. "I can pick out the perfect prom dress while naming off every planet ever to appear in a Star Wars film.") and will pay attention to the shy kids and help everyone become socially adjusted... But yeah.

Basically, all year I've felt like I have all these brillant friends who are smarter, funnier, and more successful than I am. But I guess now that I've been recognized, I feel like I'm worth something too. Like I'm important in my own right... SELF-CONFIDENCE BOOST OH YEAH~

So! I wanted to post that before I go off today. It's going to be aweeeeesoooooomeeee~

Ms. Layton is now ready to leave. )

Anime Boston is Tomorrowww~

POKEMANZ

Okay, so only a few more stitches and Layton's hat is done! I decided to make one on my own, since the one I had already was alright, but not great. Oh, and I also need to get some thick red ribbon for a hat band. Though, something tells me I'm going to gave to dig out some red cloth and the sewing machine. D= I also need to hem the back of my *waistcoat* since, you know, je suis petite. Aside from that, though... WARP 10! ENGAGE! =DDDD

I have teacher stories, and I'll make them quick. Beekley both verbally wished Matteo had gotten a pen in the eye, and said with the biggest grimace I have ever seen, "I'm always crying on the inside." And that's not taken out of context! XDDD Though, BTW, did you know I had a dream where Mr. Quadros was wearing my Star Trek shirt? ...And then I forgot my homework. -_-; (And by the way, I went to this award ceremony last night, and I thought I might get an award in English, but then [info]chevy_the_geek  reminded me that Beekley is the only teacher who doesn't give out awards. GRUMBLE GRUMBLE GRUMBLE.)

On a note that's 9000 times better, [info]khoany is watching Firefly! She came to tell our little group in the morning, and we all started screaming and jumping up and down. No news on favorite characters and the like, but I know it's so hard to choose anyway.... <333 She's also going to Anime Boston, which is a wonderful and amazing surprise, though it did lead me to wondering what was up with the Vocaloid fandom.[info]zarla had talked about it, and so when I heard KH's friends were cosplaying as some of those peeps, I had to go do some research/ actually ask Zarla. It turns out that almost everything about the fandom is just that:: fan-made. And I'm thinking, suh-weet!

Also, she said she was going to cosplay as a giant green dinosaur. And I'm thinking, Titans!dino? Which, of course, I can't remember what episode it's from but~

ISA BEEN HAVIN SUM POKEMANZ BATTULZ. No really. Amanda had an Action Replay, so... You know, that's awesome. I think I've accumulated all of my Pokemanz games into one spot for the first time, though. Well, I know my brother has a Leaf Green somewhere buuuuut... *giggle* Oh, God, I'm so hopeless. XDDD

Over the Week...

I sort of lost my two-day Wolverine kick, but all-in-all... Memory wipes make everything better. Lumberjack!Logan is frigging adorable. Gambit is amazing, and is now in the lower bit of my List, and [info]lyricalecho 's little sister would be madly in love with him. Ickle!Scott is adorable. As for "Huge Assman," it's not: I saw quite clearly. Emma is awesome. And did I mention how adorable happy!Logan is?

Exit 51 this past week was spent stalking Snapekid, mostly. He has a cool phone, and as Echo says, "He has such pretty eeeeeyessss~"

George bought a Spock action figure for me. ^.^ Actually, he moved up to #2 on my List, which is first for all intensive purposes. <333 And to be honest, I'm still sort of obsessed. In fact, I've never had any kind of desire to share any of my sci-fi/superhero fandoms with Mum, since she's not really into that, but I REALLY want her to see Star Trek. It's just so awesooooome~ (And also, I'm compelled to write Spock/Uhura fic. Is that a bad thing?) I have to draw something as a thank you note for George, I think.

I've been spamming my brain with Ouran, and it's sort of amazing. Was it Echo who described it as "G-rated prostitution"? It is, but I swear it's the fluffiest thing in the world. It's like fluff on crack, but without all the nasty  side effects. It is fanservice incarnate. XDDD So far, I think the beach episode is my favorite, or the one where they go to Haruhi's house. (Her dad is such a weirdo! *awwww*) Kyoya is on my List, somewhere in the high twenties, low thirties, I think. He can be such a jerk sometimes, but he's wonderful, really. Also, Honey = Momiji³. He's insanely cute, and I do love Mori. The Twins remind me sooo much of Fred and George, though their little angst story is incredibly sweet. And then there's Tamaki. XDDDD He's grown on me more and more, and he's just so gimmerously foppish...really need to watch the rest of the outtakes. ("That's a bad idea, Honey.")

So, Anime Boston is next weekend. (omg omg omg omg...) Genderbender!Layton is almost finished, so I think I can pull it off. I just need a top hat, but I'm going to go look for one today. I think there's a costume shop up near the Northshore Mall, so I'll go check that out. All phasers are locked!

EDIT: Dollhouse is RENEWED OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG (*implodes*)
